Nikolaos Makris and Milun Ball are our personal trainers at our Eastern Suburbs, Sydney clubs – and they work with a wide range of clients to help them develop a positive approach to health and wellbeing. Both Nikolaos and Milun are always spotted around the gym encouraging clients to edge a little closer to their goals.

With four years of personal training experience under his belt – plus a wealth of knowledge gained through the Bachelor of Exercise Physiology that he’s studying – Milun believes in helping clients to find that elusive balance in life. That is, the balance between working hard to achieve health and fitness goals, and living the life you want.
While he always shapes training programs to suit the individual needs of each client, Milun is known for incorporating high-performance training that blends scientific and real-world training approaches. There’s that balance again.
He’s pretty proud of his signature move, the Dumbbell Shoulder Box, an isolation exercise that’s great for hypertrophy of the shoulders. Plus, when it’s combined with some heavier push or pull work, it makes for some pretty well-defined deltoids.
“I’m motivated to help people transform their body and mindset. Having been a competitive water polo player and a Paratrooper in the Special Forces, I’ve learnt a lot about pushing myself beyond mental and physical limits. Now it’s my turn to teach clients how to reach the goals we set for them.”
