Glen Barrett

I believe in helping people build strength and confidence, so you can be more consistent in your training and reap the benefits. Whether you’re coming back from an injury, living with pain, struggling mentally, I can help you.

Being active has always been a big part of who I am, and for most of my life exercise and sport was what I did every day. I played professional cricket in Zimbabwe in the early 2000s, participated in decathlons, played rugby union and held the Zimbabwean national pole vault record for eight years. I’ve also played a lot of golf, cycled, played tennis, swum and played many more sports. I recently competed in my first natural body building competition to test my resilience and commitment to doing what I say I will do; it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I take this into my training others and help them reach their goals.

I’ve had my fair share of setbacks; a spinal fusion, a disc replacement, a hip replacement, multiple shoulder surgeries, and I still deal with chronic pain. On top of that, I’ve worked through some tough mental health battles. None of it has been a walk in the park, but it’s taught me to be resilient and never give up.

There’s no judgement from me as we are all dealing with something; I offer support and a genuine commitment to helping you feel stronger in body and mind with empathy and kindness. Everybody is welcome.
