"The FFIT program is
a great way for teenagers to engage in
physical activity. Teens can work at their own pace and find
exercises and classes that they enjoy, and best of all - it's
FREE!"
Geoff Huegill - FFIT Ambassador
FFIT ultimately aims to encourage young Australians to get active year round - for FREE - by providing them with a fun, non-intimidating and non-competitive environment in which to train, thereby motivating them to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Fitness First and are committed to making a difference and providing opportunities for every child to improve their lifestyle, health and fitness. As you may be aware, the state of our children's health is declining at a rapid rate. Health and social problems related to a sedentary lifestyle are on the increase in children, these include type 2 diabetes, arthritis, sleep apnoea, social stigma and obesity. All of these are a major concern which can be positively influenced by exercise. FFIT aims at getting more teens, more active, more often.
