BOOTCAMP takes you outdoors and your fitness to a whole new level. You’ll build strength, endurance and gain fitness, and just like all our incredible facilities and classes, it’s free and exclusive to Fitness First members.

Suitable for people of all fitness levels, BOOTCAMP provides the perfect cross training addition to an average training program and gives that extra level of motivation and support needed to get results faster!

All Fitness First members are welcome at the various locations, regardless of the club of which you are a member of. BOOTCAMP will run during the spring and summer seasons. Check out our latest BOOTCAMP locations and schedules below.

Each BOOTCAMP location is assigned a specific Fitness First club where you can make a booking. You will need to book at reception prior to the day as numbers are strictly limited per instructor. We start to take bookings up to one week in advance for the next 3 sessions.

This November we also have Outdoor Yoga and Pilates classes – exclusive to members. Our outdoor classes will do wonders for you body and soul as you breathe, bend and stretch your way to fitness.

BOOTCAMP Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect?

You can expect a physically challenging workout that will improve aerobic conditioning, muscular endurance, strength, mobility and balance. Your instructor will not be shouting instructions at you like a drill sergeant! They will be encouraging you to give it your all, pushing you outside of your comfort zone. Expect lots of running, squatting, pushing and lunging - getting yourself closer to your fitness goals in some of Australia’s most iconic and inspirational locations.

Do I have to be fit to do it?

Not at all, BOOTCAMP caters for all fitness levels - whether you're just getting into exercise, or you're a seasoned athlete looking for a new challenge.

What do I need to bring?

Protective clothing if the weather calls for it, otherwise leave your phone and wallet at home as they will only weigh you down! A water bottle and a small towel is all you will need - yes you will be sweating! If you have any medication which you may need, such as an asthma inhaler, please bring that along also.

How do I book a spot?

Have a look at the list below to find out which club takes bookings for the BOOTCAMP session you want to attend. See reception, or call the club to book your place. Please be aware that spaces are limited so get in early to secure your spot. If you book a place and then find you cannot attend please give us as much notice as possible (at least 24 hours) so we can offer your place to someone else.
