Finishing First
Ever dreamt of becoming a Group Fitness Instructor? Fitness First can help you achieve your dream with their mentor program….Finishing First. The 7 week course helps new instructors to break into the industry quicker and gain the confidence and self-esteem required to be on stage instructing participants. The course consolidates all the knowledge and skills that have already been gained through initial recognised training and fast-tracks the new groomed instructors to deliver world class training sessions,
Participants work alongside a mentor over the 7 weeks,
specializing in a class style/discipline of their choice.
On-going feedback is given both during the course and once
completed, making sure that the quality of supervision continues
well after the course finishes.
Topics that are covered in the 7 weeks, include pre-cueing,
training objectives and teaching with purpose and the art of
connecting and communication. Once the course is completed,
instructors are encouraged to continue their learning whilst
making themselves available for cover and permanent classes on
the Fitness First schedules.
