Dance school
Fitness First's Dance First Academy operates exclusively within
Fitness First Health Clubs and offers students fantastic
facilities, a range of different styles and professional staff.
The dance schools offer classes for 3yrs to adults in styles
ranging from Baby Ballet to R.A.D. Ballet examinations and Funk
to Break dancing with some locations offering a full Performing
Arts program.
Fitness First: "Dance First offers students the opportunity to
learn many wonderful dance styles often seen in our favourite
movies and TV shows. Fully supervised by our qualified and
professional team - students will learn necessary techniques to
get them grooving to their favourite music in no time!"
The Dance First Performance Troupes dance all over Sydney at a
range of different events and students continue to have many
successes by winning places and achieving excellence in many
competitions throughout NSW. Dance First Academy also holds
annual productions where the students have the opportunity to
showcase their talents.
A far cry from the old community halls where dance classes used
to take place, Dance First offers students premium dance studio
facilities including sprung floors, change rooms and state of the
art sound and lighting! The Junior Care service is also a great
way for parents to extend their stay and ensure they get enough
time to complete a workout - dance instructors just return
children to Junior Care after classes finish.
Dance First Academy also offers holiday dance camp workshops and
dance tours to places such as Dreamworld on the Gold Coast and
even Disneyland California. Now in its second year, Dance Camp is
a great opportunity to have fun with fellow students that all
share a keen interest in dance. Daily schedules consist of all
styles of intensive dance classes run by our professional
instructors. In addition, a wide variety of alternate activities
including canoeing, archery and ropes courses are offered by the
NSW Sport and Recreation team.
