Spring Timetable Changes Commence 6th September

 Check the new times for Studio 1 classes Friday lunch!!

For month of September George St will offer free classes to non-Platinum members

on FRIDAYS.

Just sign in at Reception.

 

Launch Classes this Week

Mon. 6th: 5:30pm BA with Yvette & Jade

Tues. 7th: 6:30pm BC with Roman & Mel

  

Saturday Classes at George St

 For several weeks now we have hosted the Bond St Saturday morning classes while our sister club has been undergoing renovations. 

 This change has proved so popular that we will continue running these classes at George St until all the Bond St work is complete at the end of October.

This means non-Platinum members can join in these classes on Saturday mornings until further notice.

Fitness First Cycle Studio Policy

Due to the popularity of some RPM classes we must now begin to enforce the standard FF policy regarding class participants being present on their bikes five minutes before the class begins. This policy has been posted on the Group Fitness noticeboards since the club opened but we have had the luxury of spare bikes for every class…until now. For the Monday and Wednesday 12:15pm RPM this policy must now come into play. Please make yourself familiar with the policy, now posted on the Cycle Studio door, and be aware that if you are not on your bike BEFORE the start of the class, it may be given to someone waiting.

A low-impact, 55-minute class, integrating aerobic exercise for heart fitness, resistance training for strength and stability, and stretching and mobility work. Using BODYVIVETM balls and resistance tubes, you enjoy a varied workout that activates and empowers your body.

Simple, athletic and electric. A high energy program combining hi & lo impact moves and combinations, organised action and strength phases. Not for the faint hearted.

Combining the many beneficial and splendid aspects of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates. Set to inspiring and uplifting music.

Kick and punch your way to great results in this hi octane, adrenaline pumping workout. Incorporates many disciplines from martial arts, like kickboxing, boxing and Tai Chi.

An awesome dance based program allowing you to step beyond your boundaries and explore your potential as a great mover and shaker.

Taking step back to what made it so popular for years. Adjustable height of the platform for intensity, slower speeds & simple choreography allows you to maximise the workout, hence the results.

No coordination required. Great music inspires you through a range of riding terrains enacted through the use of resistance and variable speeds. Entry level options are encouraged along with intense power training for the elite.

Exclusive to Fitness First, CORE is an equipment based 45 minute class designed to strengthen and tone the mid-section. Participants will become aware of how the core functions and integrates with all movement assisting in day-to-day activities.

If you have any injuries or disabilities, or are pregnant, Fitness First advises that you should consult your health professional prior to undertaking any class. Please also inform your Group Fitness instructor.
For your safety it isimportant that you attend the warm-up & cool-down phase of all classes.
Lockers are available.
Please bring a towel and water bottle for your own comfort.
For hygiene and safety reasons please bring your own gloves to boxing classes.
At Fitness First, all of our Group Fitness instructors are professionally trained, qualified and insured.
